I think the title explains it all. Tart orange cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. The recipient was turning 31, so I wanted to make an ice cream themed cake for her.

A Word From The Villain
Hello, all. Villain here, the Evil Marketing Team has brought to my attention that I have not made it known all the ways to stay in contact, should you be interested in a broader scope of my evil endeavors. I am, in fact, on Instagram, Facebook and am currently working on an Etsy page so you can have my brilliantly concocted and completely evil desserts shipped anywhere your tiny, pathetic hearts desire.
Additionally, it may behoove you to know that I will be setting up a small satellite battle station outside of Sidestreet Burgers in Olive Branch, MS this Saturday, April 5. We strike at Noon and intend to have completed our plans for parking lot domination by 5pm.
I will have the following WMD's (weapons of much deliciousness) available:
Whiskey Pecan Fudge
Key Lime Fudge
Cherry and Red Wine Fudge
Salted Caramel and Candied Bacon Bark
Handmade "Butterfinger" Candy Bars
White Chocolate Machiatto Bon Bons
As I stated on Facebook, all proceeds will go to offset the cost of my ever-rising shark food bill.
That is all I have for now.
-The Villain
My Fudge Army!
Just look at them. All nestled in their little transportation chambers. They have no idea the destruction their sale will help bring. Their innocence is almost endearing. Sleep well, little fudge minions. We strike soon....
Giant Rainbow Birthday Cake.
The Cleveland Street Flea Market was celebrating their 15th birthday and had the wisdom to hire an evil genius to create such a behemoth of a cake. 275 servings in this monster! It barely fit through the front door to the lair! I wish I had a banana for scale. Sadly, you'll just have to use your imagination with those multi-colored napkins.
Here is a picture of it once it had been nearly decimated:
If its one thing the Villain can appreciate, it is a good decimation. Well done, Cleveland Street Flea Market!
Lil Monster Baby Shower Cake
Now this is a cake after my own heart. The Villain does have a soft spot for little monsters. And look at the pinwheel! Oh, man..I can hardly take it.
Pink vanilla cake with purple butter cream frosting.
Pink vanilla cake with purple butter cream frosting.
Bacon fat brownies with candied pecans, whiskey toasted bacon crisps and salted caramel drizzle
I think the title says it all. I'll keep the caramel unsalted next time, it didn't need it with the bacon fat in place of the butter.

Owl Family Baby Shower Cake
I don't think I can make anything cuter if I ever try. Strawberry almond cake with cream cheese frosting. You can't see it here, but Daddy owl has tattoos and Momma owl is holding a carrot so everyone in the family was proper.
Autumn Apple Basket Cake
A cake to celebrate September Birthdays. I really enjoyed making this cake. The inside is an apple spice cake with very heavily vanilla'd butter cream frosting. Bottom layer is chocolate fondant, the top layer, apples and leaves are standard white fondant dyed the appropriate colors.
Bulldog Cake
A (mostly) sugar free confection for my dear friend Mike Matthews of Channel 24 fame. I was given free reign with this one, and I thought it was only fitting to make a bulldog for the bulldog.
Sugar Free (splenda) Chocolate and coconut creme pudding cake.
Sugar Free (splenda) Frosting.
Standard Fondant (not sugar free..i'll have to try that out some time)
Sunshine Baby Shower Cake
Savannah will be nicknamed "Sunny", so we wanted to incorporate that in to the cake. The other request was to hide pink somewhere in it. I ended up making a vanilla cake pink with food coloring and using a hot pink butter cream frosting on the inside. I also couldn't resist the tiny pink polka-dotted bow on top.
Iron Man Cake
I actually got super excited when I was asked to make an Iron Man cake. Of course, being the geek I am, I thought we were talking about the super hero. The discussion actually went on for quite some time before we were on the same page. THIS Iron Man is the symbol for the Triathalon, which the recipient had just completed.
German Chocolate Cake with the traditional coconut and pecan frosting.
Bon Voyage Luggage Cake
For a going away party. Chocolate cake with vanilla butter cream frosting. Covered with standard fondant and hand drawn embellishments using food coloring markers.
Ruffled Rosette Wedding Cake
Classic Almond Cake with Amaretto Butter Cream. Classic white fondant with sparkly black ribbon, and white disco dust for sparkle.
I love cakes that come from "just make me something pretty", which is what you see here. Just a note to all the brides out there: Show your cake maker a bunch of pictures of stuff you like and tell him/her to have at it. I promise you'll end up with something more unique than you anticipated!
Ruffle Cake
This was my birthday cake, which I always make for myself. I didn't have enough fondant to make as many ruffles as I wanted, but I really wanted to try out the technique.
Lemon cake with key lime frosting.

Toy Story "Jessie" Cake with alien and bo peep inspired cupcakes.
Twin 3 year olds. This is an older picture, so I honestly dont remember the flavor of the cake. The cupcakes were vanilla with buttercream frosting.
Comic book cake for a superhero party
This was a simple chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and fondant. Every detail was hand painted with food coloring gel.

Tattoo Birthday Cake
So.. two lawyers, two firefighters and a drag queen walk in to a bar.
...no seriously.
This cake was exactly for the people mentioned above. The only stipulations they had were that it had to be a tier for each person and they wanted each of their names and professions included somehow. Of course none of these things really have anything in common, so I went with old sailor tattoos, which I drew out on separate pieces of fondant. I used a gold and black airbrush to put some shading behind the tattoos and used food color markers to do cross hatch shading along the layers and around the tattoos. The cake fed 200, which was by far my largest cake. Its a strawberry-amaretto cake with vanilla-almond frosting.

Penguin!
So... This is incredibly easy to make. I poured cake batter into a 4 cup pyrex measuring cup and bam-o, penguin shaped cake (well, once you turn it upside down). This was for a friend's friend's birthday. The cake is a caramel butter cake with vanilla frosting and raspberry white chocolate fondant.
Overall I totally love this little guy and I hate that someone had to eat him. But, I am glad my friend found the design online, because this shape really opens up a lot of doors for doe-eyed adorable critter cakes in the future.
